"People don't just come to Hawaii...they are beckoned," stated a native Hawaiian woman. It is perhaps that thought that explains how the paths of two couples gently connected in Hawaii and led not only to a strong friendship but also to a partnership in a project several years in the making. That friendship turned into a bond of love and mutual respect with Janet's artwork always at the core. Hawaii and her native people are national treasures to be honored and preserved.
